Follow the Teaching Practices, Values and Methodology of The Shri Ram Schools through its collaboration with Shri Educare Limited

Teaching Methodology

The teaching methodology at The Shri Ram Schools is firmly focused on providing child-centric education. We offer interactive and experiential learning opportunities. At TSUS, Hyderabad, we follow the CBSE Curriculum, and our teaching approach incorporates a diverse blend of the latest innovations in education based on the most recent findings in tutoring research.

Recognizing that each child has unique learning styles and needs, we understand that a single approach cannot meet the requirements of all students. Our teachers skillfully select the best combination of approaches tailored to individual students

Shri educators serve as facilitators, guiding students in their learning journey using activities, audio-visual stimuli, projects, and presentations. We aim to create awareness among students and provide them with hands-on learning experiences that they can apply to real-life situations.

Pre-Primary School

Kindergarten marks the child's first experience in a structured setting with teachers and groups of children.

The curriculum for Pre-Primary - Nursery, KG1, and KG2 (known as Nanhe Kadam, Pyare Kadam & Bhadte Kadam) is play-based and child-centered. It recognizes students' multiple intelligences and encourages creative thinking. A day at the Pre-Primary level involves a balance of free play, both indoors and outdoors, and structured time. It includes activities such as Dramatic Play, Sensorial Learning, Choice Time Activities, Role Play, Art, and Discovery Hour/Wonder Time.

Primary School

The Primary School covers a five-year period from Grades I to V. During this phase, basic skills in all subjects are further enhanced, and higher-level skills are introduced to challenge students and stimulate their interest. The Primary School curriculum focuses on the spirit of exploration and emphasizes the development of sound language skills, clarity of mathematical concepts, and understanding of scientific principles.

Learning is enriched through various activities such as drama, storytelling, poetry, music, IT, discussions, and a wide range of artistic and hands-on activities.

Middle School

In the Middle and Senior School years, students experience the joy of learning, gain a deep understanding of important concepts, develop research and experimental skills, and learn to take responsibility for their actions, decisions, and outcomes.

In addition to the essential scholastic areas, the rich and varied co-scholastic program at TSUS includes exchange programs, educational trips, and community service, providing students with a well-rounded education.

“Tell me and I forget, show me and I remember, involve me and I understand”.

The school's assessment plan is aligned with the Periodic Assessment Guidelines issued by CBSE. These assessments are conducted to evaluate the child's application, understanding, and effort in the scholastic areas.

Our approach to assessment revolves around two complementary strategies: Assessment FOR Learning (AFL) and Assessment OF Learning (AOL). We believe in creating a supportive learning environment where assessments are used as tools for growth and improvement. In line with this philosophy, we have implemented a strict no homework policy until Grade II, allowing our students to focus on holistic development and fostering a love for learning.
